Hakka Iron Hand Dit Da Jow is designed to help train the hands and fingers when utilizing Old Time Iron Skills training methods.
The kit comes pre-ground and ready for you to add your ethanol of choice. (Most use 100 proof vodka)
Traditionally this and other similar formulas to make Dit Da Jow liniments were created using 100% vinegar base, taking up to 3 days to make under a full moon. Many times rusty nails that had been soaked in vinegar would be added to the mix, as iron and manganese oxide are used topically for injuries and pain relief.
Dr. Dale Dugas Herbs opts to use a vinegar/ethanol mix in all his Old Time Pre- made Dit Da Jows.
No one else processes their products in a similar manner.
We do not cold soak our herbs.
